As the world becomes ever more technologically advanced, mechatronics has emerged as an exciting engineering discipline.
Combining mechanical and electrical engineering, mechatronics uses digital computers to control machines and processes to create diverse products such as substitutes for human sensors and organs, and computer controlled machines and tools.

Northern Division: AEW Wrap Up

The launch of Engineering Week was hosted by Her Honour, Sally Thomas the Administrator of the Northern Territory at Government House on Tuesday 7 August 2012. Over 50 members joined in the Division’s official launch of the week’s activities which included a Women in Engineering lunch and a cocktail function at the Defence of Darwin Experience at East Point Museum.
