Australian Engineering Week: it’s a wrap!

Australian Engineering Week (August 1-7) has just wrapped up, and what a week it was.

Hosted by Engineers Australia, the week showcased the work engineers do to make our world a better place, and opened young minds to the exciting possibilities offered by engineering as a profession.

Engineering trivia nights, games and challenges got novices and experts alike thinking about some deep engineering conundrums. Meanwhile tours of major engineering plants, sites and companies, along with lectures by eminent professionals such as Dr. Chris Roberts, CEO of Cochlear, provided fascinating insights for long-standing professional engineers.

If you missed an event this year but want to know what was said, or have been inspired to get involved next year, just get in touch with your local division (contact details below) for more information.
