About Bardavcol

Bardavcol Pty Ltd was incorporated in the state of South Australia in December 1975. The name 'Bardavcol' is derived from the surnames of the Company's original founders; Mike Barnhurst John Davison and Dick Colson. This partnership was relatively short-lived which resulted in Mike Barnhurst taking over the business but retaining the original name for the next 25 years until his retirement in 2000. The company ownership changed in 2000 via a management buyout. The current owners are also the Company's Senior Managers and saw no reason to change the name as it represents a proud history strong tradition and a good reputation.
