When Regina was younger, she was fascinated by big structures like bridges and dams. She would swim in the dam in her father’s province and ask herself, how did it come about? When her father said that civil engineers were responsible, she knew she had found her calling.

Now with SKM, Regina is currently involve in a Sydney rail project – the Richmond Line Alliance – which is the duplication of the single railway line from Quakers Hill to Vineyard. Every time her team achieve a milestone on time, she gets immense satisfaction from her job.

She was also involved in the design and construction of the Macdonaldtown Stabling facility, where she did the design of the retaining walls supporting the track, plenty of noise walls and overhead wiring structures. Clearly, she is now able to answer her childhood question, “How does this all come about?”, with clarity and confidence.
